About Indian Crossbow Shooting Association

The Indian Crossbow Shooting Association , which is the national governing body of crossbow shooting sports games in India, established by Mr. Rajat Vij and Mrs. Hina Vij in 2014, which is registered under the Societies Act 21 of 1860, Government of India. Rajat and Hina Vij have demonstrated their talent by performing crossbows in various countries of the world. The Vij duo trains their shooters very well about crossbows so that they can make India Proud.



The objective of Indian Crossbow Shooting Association is to spread awareness about this internationally acclaimed sport so that youngsters show interest in crossbows and encourage them to take it up as a viable career option. To make this possible Constant efforts are on

The World Crossbow Shooting Association Inc. (WCSA) is an International Organisation representing the interests of Target and Open (Sport) Crossbow Shooters around the World. Medieval and 3D competitions are also encouraged Founded in January 2002. Indian Crossbow Shooting Association is the Proud National Member of World Crossbow Shooting Association since 2014.

  • Mr. Rajat Vij, an active pursuer of Crossbow shooting games. He have been involved in the active awareness of this game since the last seven years.
  • Mr. Rajat Vij & Mrs. Hina Vij have organized India’s first-ever “International Crossbow Shooting Championship” in the year 2014 in Agra.
  • First time in India Mr. Rajat Vij & Mrs. Hina Vij got an opportunity to organized International Crossbow Shooting Training camp in 19th-29th May, 2014. Which was widely praised at the official level.
  • He (Mr. Rajat Vij) has six times successfully taken Indian team abroad to participate. I, myself have represented India at the international level for eight good times, winning a medal each time.
  • After observing Mr. Rajat Vij dedication and adamance for crossbow, The World Crossbow Shooting Association honored him with the designation of 1st Asian Development officer.
  • Sticking well to his duties as the officer, he have been actively involved in gaining face for this game in India while simultaneously preparing a great team in other countries like Sri Lanka, Nepal, Philippines, Bhutan, Taiwan, and other Asian countries. Besides these, in 2015.

Hina Vij, who was India's first women's world crossbow champion, has earned a lot of fame and respect in the sports world. Hina has made her country proud by becoming the first Indian woman official judge of the World Crossbow Shooting Association. Hina, who walks parallel with her husband Rajat Vij, has proved that women are not made only for cooking. In making her husband Rajat Vij's dreams come true, Hina has always supported him and boosted his morale.
Despite being the mother of two kids, Hina is always active in the sports world and continues to inspire the youth to join the crossbow. Key Achievements of Hina Vij

  • First woman from Uttar Pradesh to participate in the 7th World Crossbow Shooting Championship in Florida held in the year 2015.
  • Hina Won laurels for the nation.
  • She has established her name as the first Indian female crossbow champion by winning 2 golds and 3 silvers.
  • A strong dedication and perseverance for establishing India as a world champion in crossbow and gaining fame for this game.
  • Hina Vij is also the first Indian woman to have been an official judge of the World Crossbow Shooting Association during the year 2020. She has passed the online WCSA Judge Seminar where she performed her level best. The test was conducted under the guidelines of Stephen Sommers, Secretary General of the World Crossbow Shooting Association where Hina had a lot to learn.
