International Crossbow Fest was organized on 9th May 2019 at Jaypee Palace and Convention Center in Agra by the founders of Indian Crossbow Shooting Association Rajat Vij and Hina Vij. More than 45 India shooters took part in this championship, which was a friendly competition between Indian shooters. Shri Hari Sukumar, Vice President of JP Palace Hotel and Negotiation Center, was present as the chief guest at the event. Indian team shooters were selected as judges in the National Jude Course. Savita Joshi, Madhav Maheshwari, Mahendra Singh, Chiranjeev Rajkhowa were the judges of this championship, who gained experience of working under the guidance of Stephen Somers. The Secretary General of the World Crossbow Shooting Association and Tony McLaughlin were WCSA official judge Charles Mechin who has also been an IAU ambassador and Parvez Joshi was a former judge of the World Crossbow Shooting Association. Dr. Charles Clarence Siddhant of MPS World School and Mr. Amit Goel, AGM of Coca-Cola Uttar Pradesh were the guests of the program

The National Judge Course was organized by the Indian Crossbow Shooting Association which is a part of the International Crossbow Festival. This was the first time in India that this course seminar was organized. In which Rajat and Hina Vij gave their full cooperation, with the help of both this became possible. The aim of this course is to make Indian shooters at international level complete knowledge about crossbow shooting rules, some were also selected as judges of ICSA for one year. Written test was also conducted after the selection course. The course was done under the guidance or presence of Stephen Somers, who is the Secretary General of the World Crossbow Shooting Association, Tony McLaughlin has been the official judge of the World Crossbow Shooting Association. Tony McLaughlin, Parvez Joshi and Charles Mechin have been ambassadors to the IAU.The event was organized at Hotel Jaypee Palace & Convention Center Agra, India on 9th-10th May, 2019. where more than 45 Indian shooters took part. So, Hari Sukumar, Vice President operationo JP Palace Hotel & Convergence Center was the chief guest of the program. Apart from these, the shooters who passed the National Judges Syllabus Examination included the judges of the Indian team, Savita Joshi, Madhav Maheshwari, Mahendra Singh, Chiranjeev Rajkhowa.

Open National Crossbow Shooting Championship

On 28 January 2017, open national crossbow shooting was organized at Mount Litera Zee School in Agra, India. The championship was inaugurated by Dr. Pareek and Mr. Sparsh Bansal was the owner of Mount Litera Zee School. 35 shooters from 5 different states participated in this championship and performed tremendous. At the same time, Vij Dampatti also boosted the morale of crossbow players

Indian Crossbow Shooting Association organized 1st National Desi Dhanush Crossbow Shooting Championship in Agra, The official logo, jersey and website of Indian Crossbow Shooting Association was launched by the former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Mr. Akhilesh Yadav. 35 shooters from all over India participated in this championship. Now many shooters are taking interest in crossbow Shooting to built there shooting career in this new sports game in India.Opening ceremony was done by former IG of Agra Mr Mishra with the presence of Mr Sushil Gupta the owner of Prelude Public School Agra. Closing ceremony was done by the Former Cabinet Minister & MLA Me Raja Aridaman Singh

World Cup Target & Sporting Crossbow

World Cup Target & Sporting Crossbow

The World Cup Target and Sporting Crossbow Championship was held in Ennigerloh, Germany on 22nd -24th May 2015 under the auspices of the World Crossbow Shooting Association. 45 shooters from Europe participated in the event. There were 5 shooters in the Indian crossbow team and Rajat Vij played the role of mentor and coach of the team. So the event was organized by Edwin Hirte and Stephen Wolfring. Mr. Rajat Vij gave excellent guidance to the team as a coach. After that, the Indian team qualified for the biggest crossbow shooting championship to be held in Florida by a commendable performance in many matches. He was also awarded for his superb skills and promoting sports in India. The Indian team shall be coached by Mr. Rajat Vij

2nd WCSA European Crossbow Shooting Championship

2nd WCSA European Crossbow Shooting Championship

The 2nd WCSA European Crossbow Shooting Championship was organized on 6th -8th June 2014. Mr. Rajat Vij made India Proud by winning a bronze medal at the second European Crossbow Shooting Championships in Ennigerloh, Germany. The championship was organized under the aegis of the World Crossbow Shooting Association in which Rajat secured a bronze medal with 864 points. Mr. Abhijeet Chandrasekhar from Chennai and Mr. Arun Kumar from Hyderabad also participated in this championship as a part of Team India, which was led by Rajat Vij, President of the Indian Crossbow Shooting Association and Mr. Parvez Joshi, International Crossbow Shooter from Punjab had been invited as a judge of this event. Shri Abhijeet Chandrasekhar won silver medal with 941 marks and Shri Arun Kumar won gold medal with 1084 marks. More than 40 players from different countries participated in this championship including Germany, Sweden, Estonia, Great Britain, Australia and India

On 30th March, 2014 Rajat Vij went to South Sweden to play 35m and 45m outdoor championships. There he scored second position in field crossbow. He was also awarded the Crystal Shield by Kent Head Berg for this victory. Teams which participated in this championship were from Sweden but Mr. Rajat Vij was the only opener who represented India

Champions are not made in the gym. Champions are made from something that is deep within them. A desire, a dream, a vision and a game gives structure, discipline and a pure fulfillment to your life. Chasing this goal, the Indian team once again showed their strength in the crossbow shooting champions held in Gothenburg, Sweden. Mr Rajat Vij won the bronze medal for India in the 18 meters at the Gothenburg Club Championships on 29 March 2014, an indoor competition organized by the GAK. The shooters who participated in the championship organized by the Indian Crossbow Shooting Association were from Sweden, Denmark and India. Mr. Rajat Vij was the only Indian player to be a part of the championship

The city of Taj (Agra) was once again got the opportunity to make itself proud with the dignified presence of an influential gathering as another program was added to its jewels. Mr. Rajat Vij is an Indian crossbow shooter who won silver at the Swedish Open Crossbow Shooting Championships in Gothenburg in December 2013. He is the first player to win a silver medal for India. Being the National President of the Indian Crossbow Shooting Association, he organized the first Indian Open Crossbow Shooting Championship at Prelude Public School, Agra. Where 28 Indian participants from different states, three shooters from Sweden, 2 judges from Australia and Ireland were also involved. Among of these shooters Mr. Mickey Scotland was also there, who won the championship and also known as the “Godfather” of the crossbow. The program was inaugurated by Mr. Puran Davar, who has been a tycoon and social worker, Apart from these, Mr. Sushil Chandra Gupta, Mr. Satish Chandra Gupta and many others helped not only to popularize the crossbow but also to etch the name of Agra in the sports world map. In November 2013, a team of 9 shooters represented India in the Swedish Open Crossbow Shooting Championships. Members of the Indian team were Rajat Vij, Parvez Joshi, Manpreet Singh, Lovejit Singh, Harpreet Singh, Kamaljeet Singh. The championship was organized by the Gothenburg Crossbow Club. Under the guidance of Rajat Vij, the Indian team won several medals in the 18 meter indoor championship

The 6Th International Championship 2013 Was Held In Visby, Sweden From 13-18Th August. It Was The First Time When An Indian Team Took A Part Of The International Crossbow Championship. That Was The Absolutely Pride Moment Of India. There Was 5 Players In A Team Along With Rajat Vij, Anmol Deep Singh, Ratandeep Singh, Kamaljeet Singh And Arnold Ketzer And The Team Was Under The Captaincy Of Mr. Ratandeep Singh. It Was Completely New Experience For The Team, Also Quite Adventurous And Exciting In Which The Players Got To Learn A Lot. Shri Anmoldeep Singh Won The Medal For The Junior Category And Rajat Vij And Kamaljeet Singh Got The Fourth Position In First Round Category. After This Championship, India Had Made Its Way Into The Crossbow
